Voices of Hope: NTC Project GLAD® Climate Science Unit is an ntegrated unit for 4th – 8th grades. Project GLAD® is a collection of strategies that are essential for our English Learners and make learning accessible at high levels for all learners. Strategies include chants, pictorial chart – representing information in a visual manner, including many other strategies as well. The unit focused on the many individuals and organizations that are making positive strides to mitigate climate change. By focusing on hope we can all take action – which leads to more hope! The unit culminates with an “Action Plan” that teams of students work on implementing – bringing all their learning together into a project that will help support the changes needed to battle climate change.
